The Grand Adventures of Honey, PawPaw and the Globe Trotting Four Puerto Rico
A new children’s book series, The Grand Adventures of Honey, PawPaw, and the Globe-Trotting Four, is set to launch its first installment this month, offering young readers an engaging introduction to global cultures through the lens of family travel. The series is written by Keshia Miller, a travel professional and grandmother who sought to create a story that bridges generations through learning and exploration.
The first book in the series follows grandparents Honey and PawPaw as they take their four grandchildren on a cultural journey to Puerto Rico. Along the way, readers are introduced to the island’s music, dance traditions such as Bomba, historic sites like El Morro, and the flavors of local cuisine. Aimed at children in grades 4–6, the book blends educational content with vivid illustrations and family-friendly storytelling.
“The idea was to create something that reflects real-world experiences in a fun and accessible way,” Miller said. “Many children don’t get the opportunity to travel, and this series is designed to bring that experience to them through story.”
